Case Study
Pinetop Fire Station #110
Completed in June 2009, the Pinetop Fire Station #110 in Pinetop, Ariz., functions as fire station and administrative location for the Pinetop Fire Department of Navajo County. In keeping with the town’s standing as a popular summer resort and second home for Arizona desert residents, the station maintains the rustic charm of its surroundings. To achieve the desired look, architect Perlman Design Group (Scottsdale, Ariz.) selected Metal Sales to provide a sustainable roof for the new facility. Metal Sales supplied more than 3,000 square feet (279 square meters) of 24-gauge Vertical Seam roof panels in Burnished Slate with a PVDF finish. The standing-seam roof helps to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing home for the firefighters and reserve personnel.
Perlman Design Group, Scottsdale, Ariz., served as the architect; Core Construction, Phoenix, was the builder; Sidewinder Supply, Show Low, Ariz., was the distributor; Quality First Roofing, Pinetop, was the installer.
