Case Study

MINDBODY Headquarters

In response to rapid growth, MINDBODY added 64,000 square feet to its headquarters. The 24 gauge Metal Sales panels feature a ribbed profile in a Terra Cotta color, lending an earthy warmth in keeping with the software company’s mission to enable wellness and peace of mind for its customers and employees.

The majority of Metal Sales materials specified for the project were exterior wall panels. However, Metal Sales roof panels were used in a unique way to top the open-framed metal awnings above many of the building’s windows. The panels were installed upside down so that the underside of the awning tops reveal their painted side, creating a soffit that matches the color of the building’s exterior walls. The awnings shade windows from the sun, helping to reduce cooling costs and save energy.

RRM Design Group of San Luis Obispo developed the master plan concepts for the expansion. The main building features a large entry plaza, which serves as an outdoor meeting space for the entire campus. Upper floor walkways overlook the atrium lobby.

The building provides open office areas and includes a café, multi-purpose meeting rooms, and a daycare facility for employees’ children.

Interface Manufacturing Inc. of Paso Robles, CA installed the Metal Sales panels for the MINDBODY project. The contractor was J.W. Design & Construction of San Luis Obispo.

The Metal Sales V-Line 32 panels feature a trapezoidal rib on four 9/16” centers. Panel coverage is 32” with a 1 3/8” rib height. 24 gauge and 26 gauge are standard.
