The Miami-Dade BCCO approves products for use in the High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) as described in the Florida Building Code (FBC) 7th Edition, 2020 and assigns the product construction a Notice of Acceptance (NOA) number. No deviations from the approved construction are permitted unless specifically referenced in the NOA.

One of the key pieces of information listed in the NOA is the negative Maximum Design Pressure (MDP). Negative pressure tends to pull the panel away from the substrate.
